About Us
Girl Scouts of the Desert Southwest (GSDSW) is proud to serve the girls and families of Hobbs and surrounding communities. Our mission is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character who make the world a better place. Through engaging programs in STEM, Outdoor Adventures, Life Skills, and Entrepreneurship—including the iconic Girl Scout Cookie Program—we equip girls with the tools they need to lead, advocate, and succeed.
Across our 94,000-square-mile council, we provide hands-on learning, leadership development, and experiences that inspire girls to discover their strengths and take action in their communities. With the support of caring volunteers, community partners, and generous donors, GSDSW is committed to ensuring that every girl—no matter her background—has access to opportunities that empower her future.
